Pasay City, August 22, 2025 – President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino National High School proudly celebrated its 10th Foundation Day Culminating Activity, a remarkable milestone that highlighted a decade of commitment to excellence in education and service to the community.
The program formally opened with the Inspirational Opening Remarks delivered by the current School Principal, Sir Michael C. Artoza, who warmly welcomed the guests, alumni, and stakeholders. In his message, he emphasized the school’s decade-long journey of growth, resilience, and unity, and expressed his gratitude to all who continuously support the institution’s mission of providing quality education.
The event was graced by our beloved Hon. Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, who extended her heartfelt support and appreciation to the school for its contributions to the youth of Pasay City. Also present was Cluster 10 Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma’am Evelyn Ramos, who congratulated the school for its continuous growth and achievements.
The celebration became even more meaningful with the attendance of the school’s former principals – Ma’am Anicia E. Monton, Dr. Efren Canzana, and Ma’am Grace B. Torres – whose leadership and dedication played an important role in shaping the institution. Sir Roger B. Escarilla, former Assistant Principal, likewise joined the occasion, together with former SPTA Presidents, alumni, and former students, rekindling ties with their alma mater and sharing in the joy of this milestone.
Adding inspiration to the program was the Keynote Speech delivered by Mr. Kenneth A. Olvis, a proud alumnus of President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino National High School. In his message, he shared his experiences, success stories, and words of encouragement to the students, reminding everyone that the values learned from their alma mater serve as a strong foundation for future achievements.
