In celebration of the 2026 National Nutrition Month with the theme, “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino National High School successfully conducted and participated in various activities that promoted proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and environmental responsibility among learners throughout the month of July.

The month-long celebration aimed to increase awareness of the importance of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and sustainable environmental practices while encouraging active participation from learners, teachers, and stakeholders. Through a series of engaging and meaningful activities, the school strengthened its advocacy for healthier communities and nutrition-conscious learners.

As part of the division-level Nutrition Month celebrations, the school proudly participated in the Nutri-Dance Contest, Nutri-Jingle Contest, and Poster-Making Contest. These competitions provided learners with opportunities to showcase their talents, creativity, and understanding of nutrition-related concepts while promoting the values of teamwork, discipline, and healthy living.

Demonstrating exceptional performance and dedication, the school’s representatives earned Second Place in all three major competitions: the Nutri-Dance Contest, Nutri-Jingle Contest, and Poster-Making Contest. These remarkable achievements brought pride and honor to the school and highlighted the hard work and commitment of both the participants and their coaches. The awardees were formally recognized during an online webinar and through an official memorandum issued by the Schools Division Office.

To further strengthen the Nutrition Month advocacy, nutrition-related concepts were integrated into classroom instruction, particularly in Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) subjects. Teachers emphasized the importance of balanced diets, proper food choices, food safety, and healthy lifestyle practices. Informative materials and Nutrition Month campaign posters were likewise disseminated through the school’s communication platforms to reinforce key messages on nutrition and environmental conservation.

The school also conducted Poster-Making and Slogan-Making Contests that encouraged learners to express their ideas creatively while deepening their understanding of the role of nutrition in maintaining a healthy and productive life. Through these activities, learners were able to connect nutrition awareness with environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship.

Overall, the Nutrition Month 2026 Celebration successfully achieved its goals of promoting nutrition awareness, encouraging healthy lifestyle practices, and fostering environmental responsibility among learners. The various activities enhanced learners’ appreciation of proper nutrition and emphasized the collective responsibility of building a healthier and more nutrition-conscious community.

President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino National High School remains committed to sustaining nutrition-related programs and initiatives and to continuously integrating health and nutrition education into its school programs throughout the year.
