Dr. Basilisa D. Tomimbang , PSDS of Cluster-10, monitored the school to provide technical assistance to the leader and assistant leader of the school on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. She did the Kumustahan during her first meeting with Guidance Teacher, TICs ,MTs, Department Head, Assistant Principal and School Principal. Her focus on the provision of technical assistance geared to the implementation of Catch-up Fridays, implementation of literacy and numeracy learning interventions for this grading period. She told the attendees about her supervisory tasks like checking of LPs during monitoring, checking instructional materials used by the teachers, giving TA on the quality teaching and learning, strategies used, classroom management or routines, assessment and evaluation and also addressing the needs of the teachers for a positive climate in school. Her agenda for her first meeting were: First Kumustahan, Duties and Responsibilities of PSDS, Observation, Teachers Programs and Class Program, Supervisory Plan and other Matters.The attendees were: Ma’am Grace B. Torres, School Head, Sir Roger B. Escarilla, Assistant School Principal, Ms. Consuelo A. Eusebio, Araling Panlipunan Department Head, Dr. Paulo Victor Umali, MT and OIC of TLE, Mr. Terence V. Reyes, MT and Subject Group Head of HUMSS in SHS, Mr. Josie N. Napal, OIC of Math Department, Ms. Junbeth Santos, TIC of MAPEH, Ms. Maria Elena De Ocampo, TIC of English Department, Jellie DC. Surbida, TIC of Science Department and Ms. Maria Victoria Roberto who represented Ms. Rosalin SR. Camacho, Guidance Coordinator. She reminded every one to be ready to submit comparative analysis after the periodical test to give recommendation for enhancement of learning of learners. According to her, after the exam, getting the Mean, MPS, Frenquency of Scores and Item analysis must be done for submission. She added that proper findings and recommendation must be addressed based on the data presented. “Planning, implementation and management of instructional supervision is properly made between you and me so as to ensure that instructional supervision is conducted the best way it should be based on the vision, mission and core values of DepEd.” She ended her meeting with some reminders and emphasized that cooperation among the groups should be enhanced and practiced to provide and get the target results on instruction and supervision.
